  • How far does C&H Hardwoods currently make deliveries

    300 Miles

  • Does C&H Hardwoods manufacture custom stair treads?

    Yes, we manufacture custom stair treads in both White Oak & Red Oak.

  • Does C&H Hardwoods accept credit cards?

    Yes,  C&H does accept all major credit cards.

  • Does C&H Hardwoods offer next day pick up on stock products?

    Yes, we do offer next-day pickup on all stock products.

  • Can C&H Hardwoods match photos & or drawings for custom profiles?

    Yes, we can match drawings utilizing our CAD machine and creating custom knives to match your custom profiles.

  • What materials are best for outdoor trim?

    We recommend cypress or cedar because they handle water, but other wood species can be utilized if they are treated properly.

  • What grade of lumber does C&H stock?

    (FAS) the highest grade of lumber.

  • What are your lead times?

    8-10 days on custom millwork & 1-3 days on stock products.  However, there are times we can improve these timelines if the customer provides necessary information and request a “rush” order.

  • What is an S4S board?

    S4S means that the board has been surfaced on all 4 sides meaning it will be smooth on all sides.

  • Why is it important for customers to provide project timeline?

    Understanding the customer’s timeline is crucial for effective inventory planning and delivery coordination.  Projects that need a  “rush” delivery may require a “rush” order identity or expedited delivery service.

  • How does C&H materials differ from the materials used by other manufacturing and/or millwork companies?

    Several millwork companies skimp on the lumber grading process to save money and increase margins.  Instead, C&H only stocks and uses the highest grade lumber (FAS) unless the customer specifies wanting to use a lower grade of lumber.
